American Digital University (ADU) has developed quality e-learning programs since 2004, and is certified by the State Council of Higher Education in Virginia. ADU has two schools - the College of Business and Technology (CBT) and the International Maritime College (IMC). At CBT there will be courses on the areas of business and technology. IMC courses focus on training for seafarers and the maritime industry.
ADU fills the gap between traditional education and the needs of people today. Interactive courses taught by experienced professionals help students keep pace with changing industry demands in addition to providing research-based education. We considered the global environment of business today and collaborations with some of the leading international universities have yielded exceptional results. This approach supports the need for real-world experience, theory and best practices in education and training.
ADU realizes that expertise is dispersed across the globe and the only way to harness the global expertise is to create and operate a global IT platform that can become the answer to current and future needs of the business world. The web-based platform reaches students on a global basis through networked education that brings students, teachers and other experts together in a learning community.
We spoke to business owners and recruiters from around the world and found a consistent message - the greatest asset for any business is a well-trained workforce. Our goal is to develop this talent at an affordable cost. The average cost of a private college is around $20,000 a year at many schools, while the cost of taking ADU training programs is free. You only pay a small examination fee when you're ready to take a test to become certified. When you factor in the value of your time, the on-line program becomes an even better investment. With today's busy lifestyle, flexibility and affordability in charting your own path remain key advantages.
